Roof Inspection FAQ

_
Is a roof inspection really free?

Yes. Our roof inspections are genuinely free and no-pressure. We’ll give you an honest assessment, including telling you when your roof doesn’t need any work.

How long does a roof inspection take?

Most residential roof inspections take about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the size and complexity of your roof. We photograph our findings and walk you through them.

What do you check during an inspection?

We check shingles, flashing, valleys, vents and penetrations, gutters, and the attic for leaks and ventilation issues — the full system, not just a glance from the driveway.

Should I get an inspection before buying or selling a home?

Definitely. A roof inspection protects buyers from inheriting a hidden problem and helps sellers avoid last-minute surprises during the deal. We provide documentation you can share.

Can a roof inspection support an insurance claim?

Yes. If we find storm damage, we document it with the photos and detail your insurer needs, and we can meet your adjuster on-site to support the claim.

How often should I have my roof inspected?

A good rule of thumb is once a year and after any major storm. Older roofs and homes under heavy tree canopy benefit from more frequent checks.
